About Us at All About The Garage in Fredericksburg, VA

Owner, Steve Wood grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He truly takes pride in the Fredericksburg area, along with his reputation as a business owner. Steve began his entrepreneurial drive at a young age when he and a business partner started Supreme Fan and Fireplace in Fredericksburg in the mid 80's. The business grew to a second location in Fredericksburg along with a location in Charlottesville. While he and his partner worked hard to build the business, Steve decided to leave after 7 years to explore the world of corporate America. Working in the corporate world for such large companies as GE and Waste Management brought much knowledge and experience, however that local small business vibe had never really left him. Steve had also spent time as the VP of Sales for a large overhead door company, and there is where he recognized the need for residential garage organizational systems to go along with garage doors and openers. The garage is how many people enter their homes, and so many people can't even park in their garage, much less use it as a workable space.
